With your new Name.com VPS, you will likely be managing DNS on the server itself. This is done via named or Power DNS, typically, however, you're welcome to use whatever service you'd like.

If your domain is registered at our registrar, you automatically have access to our free DNS services. This allows you to point your domain to our name servers (ns1 through ns4.name.com) and add A records to point to your VPS IP.

If you would like to use custom name servers, you can find instructions for registering them from your Name.com account by clicking on this link.

If your domain is not registered here, you do not have access to use our name servers. As such, you will need to utilize custom name servers, or, a DNS service to point A records to your VPS.
