If your web hosting provider asked you to point your domain to their IP address, you will do this by creating two A records which point to that IP. A lot of the free web site builders such as Weebly and Wix will ask you to use this method. To do this, make sure your domain is using the Name.com name servers and follow the instructions below:

1.) Log into your account and click the 'Domains' button at the top of the screen and then "my domains" below.

2.) Click on the domain you wish to create an A record for.

3.) You will be taken to Domain Management, here on the left hand side click "DNS records"

4.) Here you will create 2 A records.

5.) In the drop down section to the left, make sure A record is showing.

6.) First A record = In the Record Host bar, you will leave it blank for the first record, you will place the IP address in the Record Answer bar.

7.) Second A record = In the Record Host bar, you will input an * this is the wildcard record, you will then place the IP address in the Record Answer bar.

Once the records are created, the domain should be pointing to the web server within a few hours.
